I joined this site about a year ago, and found it really good. Cashback was higher on WPT than on other cashback sites and I’ve managed to make over £200, mostly from signing up to gambling websites. Of course a bit of that money is deposits to those gambling sites, but overall I have made a decent amount of money. However they don’t pay 100% cashback anymore. Most of the time other sites pay more, and I would recommend avoiding this site.

It seems that they have opened another site though; Cashback.co.uk. (here is my referral link : http://www.cashback.co.uk/r/207751 ) For now there is NO admin fee, you get £5 to join and £7 per referral who makes over £15. However, they don’t pay 100% comission either. For that reason I would recommend  joining another cashback site that does pay 100%.

Topcashback.co.uk

This site has NO admin fees and never has. It often pays just as well as other popular cashback sites such as Quidco. There is also the possibility of earning over 100% comission with their “top ups” promotion. Earn £2.50 per referral who earns over £5. There is no minimum amount you have to earn to be able to cashout, which is what I love about this site. These Paid To Click sites pay around 1/4 of a penny per click. You can either get these emailed to you or you click banners on the website. Payout is £3 for all the sites listed, usually by Paypal, but Archerfish also pays in Amazon vouchers.

Yes, it takes a while to get to £3. But… it doesn’t take a lot of time or effort to click the links. You can’t open more than one at a time, but you only have to be on the page for ten to twenty seconds on average. 4-5 clicks will earn you a penny. I can’t decide if it’s worth doing, but I’m going to keep going  because like I said it doesn’t take a lot of effort, and a £3 Amazon voucher/payout will be nice every now and again

I have recently discovered Dooyoo. Dooyoo is a great site where you get paid 50p per review written and 1.5p for every time a member of the site views one of your reviews. You can cash out at £20 in the form of an Amazon voucher, or you can wait until you have £50 and get a cheque sent to you. 500 dooyoo miles = 50p. If your review is particularly good, you could be awarded a “crown”. Other members can nominate you by pressing a link next to your review. This gives you £1.50 and a yellow crown by the review title. Members can rate your review “very useful”, “useful”, “somewhat useful” and “not useful”. You don’t get extra money for being rated; it’s the view that counts.

Top tips

• Don’t be a “churner”: this means writing lots of reviews all at once. The community will have no respect for you, and that means that less people will view your reviews, which means less money for you. It is worth making an effort because if you write a really good review, you may just get a crown. Also, lots of people avoid reviews that have an overall “useful” or “somewhat useful” review. If you have an overall rating of “very useful” you’re more likely to get more views from members.

• Return rates: Dooyoo can only function if the community works. My advice is to try to keep returning rates to people who rate you, because if no one ever rated each other the site wouldn’t work. There are plenty of interesting reviews and many members comment that their shopping has changed due to reading reviews on Dooyoo.

• Read lots of other reviews before posting: this will help you get a feel for the standard of writing. Although the minimum amount of words you have to write is only 150, many reviews written on Dooyoo are closer to 1,000 words. Waffling is unnecessary, but often 150 words will just get you a “somewhat useful” rating

My opinion

Personally I think it’s a good site. I’ve managed to get nearly £20 by writing 18 reviews which I don’t think is too bad. I haven’t had any crowned yet, but I’m not sure I’m a good enough writer for that I think once you’ve lost your “new member” status (this puts people off looking at your reviews as many new members are “churners”) it’s probably a good idea to keep rating other people’s reviews and waiting until you get around 40 ratings on your reviews before writing another. This ensures that you earn around £1 per review, which for me works out well because I find it hard to get the inspiration to write a decent review!
